Grades 3–5 | Week 1: June 11–15
Craft and create beautiful works of art!
Campers will travel to Chinese ClayGround and learn the coil, slab and pinch pot techniques; they will construct plates, sculptures, bowls and anything they can think of. Your camper will also get to paint different ceramics so that by the end of the week you will have a showroom full of art. Campers should wear clothes they can get dirty.
For the last half of the camp day, campers may participate in classic themed activities such as outdoor games, recreational swim, sports, learning about Jewish culture, arts and crafts and more.
Please note that it takes two to three weeks for the pieces to be fired in a kiln and finished. The J-Camp office will notify you when your camper's pieces are ready for pickup.
