Grades 1-2 | Week 6: July 17–21
Craft and create beautiful works of art. Campers will travel to Chinese Clayground and learn the coil, slab and pinch pot techniques to construct plates, sculptures, bowls and anything they can think of.
Your camper will also get to paint different ceramics so that by the end of the week you will have a showroom full of art. Campers should wear clothes they can get dirty.
Please note that it takes 2-3 weeks for the pieces to be fired in a kiln and finished. The J-Camp office will notify you when your camper’s pieces are ready for pickup.
Other camp activities may include games, recreational swim, sports, learning about Jewish culture, arts and crafts and more!
