COVID-19 Preparedness Information

While the health and safety of our campers and staff team are always the highest priority at J-Camp, the significant emphasis on continued mitigation of exposure and transmission of COVID-19 remains this summer. We are proud of the proactive and informed approach that we have taken since the beginning of the pandemic and will continue to make decisions about policies and procedures based on national and local guidance. We will continue to keep you informed of these methods and to provide updates as they evolve. Some of the measures that will be in place include:

  • Significant amounts of outdoor (fresh air) time, as well as well-ventilated indoor spaces for each camper group

  • All staff members on campus have begun the process (at least one shot) of vaccination, and more than 90% of the camp team will be fully vaccinated by the first week of camp

  • Masks to be worn by all staff members and campers at all times while indoors and during certain activities (singing, chanting, etc.) while outdoors

  • Groups will not mix while indoors and may only mix outdoors in specific, limited situations that are within the parameters of national and local guidance

  • Daily health check of each camper upon arrival at camp and when necessary throughout the day

  • Camper drop-off and pick-up done entirely from your vehicle

  • Regularly scheduled handwashing and cleaning throughout the day
