Teens entering grades 9* and 10 will have the opportunity to apply to be a counselor in training (CIT). Throughout the summer, our CITs will learn important leadership skills and how to be a role model and care for others as a camp counselor. Guided by our camp values and leadership staff, CITs will gain a sense of responsibility and learn important skills such as managing tricky situations, communication best practices and facilitating fun and engaging programming. The CIT program is both a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow through hands-on experience, team building, professional development and of course our fun J-Camp traditions! During their field experience, CITs must be available for a full day of training on Sunday, June 15.

*Special note for entering 9th graders: they can choose to participate in either the Explore the Bay Camp or the CIT program, based on their interests and what they hope to get out of the summer.
