JCC Maccabi Sports Camp is an overnight Jewish sports camp where our main goal is to  build strong character and Jewish community through sports. Located just outside of San Francisco on the beautiful campus of Menlo College in Atherton, CA, our focus is sports, balanced with fun and traditional Jewish camp experience. We welcome campers entering grades 3–11 from around the United States, Canada and the world.

During our two-week sessions, campers focus on developing athletic skills and improving as teammates in their sport of choice — baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis or volleyball. Each day includes skills and drills plus competitive game play, with a focus on improving as individuals and teammates. Aside from core sport sessions, the daily routine includes plenty of other sports and camp activities mixed in with the core values of a Jewish overnight summer camp.

As a complement to our emphasis on skill development, our camp is guided by Jewish values and the meaningful way they integrate into the athletic and community experience. We believe the life skills learned through sports are as important as the sports skills themselves. Each Friday afternoon, we gather together in a peaceful setting to welcome Shabbat and reect on the week. Saturdays are a relaxing day at camp; after morning service, campers choose from a variety of activities ranging from lawn games to crafts.
