Kefli (Fun for Me): Summer Celebration
Kindergarten | Week 10: August 13–16 | Highlight Activity: Field Trips
Kefli supports your child's transition into kindergarten with a fun, safe and nurturing environment.
Each day is filled with new and exciting activities that focus on the week's theme. Themed activities may include making pirate hats and eye patches to cooking with Jr. Chef Stars. Throughout the week, campers will visit with our specialists, who create various activities related to sports, art, music and STEAM. Campers will also enjoy group swim lessons two to three times a week at our aquatics center.
Wacky Wednesdays are back! Campers are encouraged to get in the spirit of showing off how zany they can get with themes such as crazy hair, wacky outfit and twin day.
Themed highlight activities will be the main focus on Thursdays as we invite many of our old friends back to camp such as Wildlife Associates, Happily Ever Laughter and Friendly Pony Parties. These highlight activities may incorporate arts and crafts, games and/or social skills.
Every Friday is filled with non-stop fun! Campers will enjoy a kosher-style hot dog BBQ with fruit and veggies. They will participate in the much-anticipated All Camp Event where fun engaging games, crafts and themed activities are provided.
Themed All Camp Events may include Inflatable Extravaganza, J-Camp Carnival and Silly Sports. Camp will conclude every Friday in the Shultz Cultural Arts Hall for Shabbat where the entire camp will get to enjoy performances from other groups as well as a slideshow of the week. In addition, campers experience creative play and special themed activities planned by their counselors.
With the exception of Summer Celebration, Kefli camps will take place entirely on campus.
