OFJCC J-Camp
 

Counselors
Counselors are role models responsible for the care and supervision of campers in all aspects of camp. They lead with patience and kindness and create a welcoming community for their group. Counselors will have the opportunity to lead activities and work with other staff to execute special events at camp. As a counselor, you will build positive relationships with your campers and help them grow throughout the summer. Flexibility, enthusiasm and a positive attitude are necessary for working at camp!

PM Care Counselors
PM Care Counselors are role models responsible for the care and supervision of campers in our afternoon program at J-Camp. They lead with patience and kindness and create a welcoming community for all campers. Counselors will have the opportunity to lead activities and facilitate a fun, free-flow style afternoon care program. As a PM Care Counselor, you will build positive relationships with your campers and help them grow throughout the summer. Flexibility, enthusiasm and a positive attitude are necessary for working at camp!

PM Care Coordinator
The PM Care Coordinator is responsible for designing, leading and facilitating a fun and engaging PM care program for our campers. The PM Care Coordinator will support the PM care staff and manage the daily operations of the PM care program. This a great role for someone who wants to bring their creative energy and leadership to run a wonderful J-Camp after-care program!


Unit Leaders
Unit Leaders are responsible for supporting groups of counselors in day-to-day camp life. Unit Leaders are role models for the counselors and should have previous camp experience and leadership skills to be able to guide their team throughout the summer. Unit Leaders are supervised by the Directors and will work together to ensure camp operations and coordination run smoothly throughout camp.

Friday Events and Spirit Coordinator

The Friday Events and Spirit Coordinator plans and implements all camp events from Fun Fridays to wacky water days and Shabbat programming. The Friday Events and Spirit Coordinator should come with tons of enthusiasm, innovative ideas for programming and great organizational skills. They also serve as support to the Unit Leaders and are supervised by the Directors.

Program Assistant
The Program Assistant is a member of the leadership team responsible for supporting the J-Camp office and a key leader in organizing J-Camp operations. The Program Assistant is responsible for overseeing the ordering, distribution and management of J-Camp supplies. This position will also assist the J-Camp office with administrative tasks. This is a great role for anyone who is organized and wants to hone in on their administrative skills as part of a camp leadership team!
